Sphere of the kingdom (Kabbalah)

This sphere of awareness is associated with the sub-conscious, the functions of the physical body, and thus with the development of physical or somatic awareness. It is the immediate consciousness, the materialization of ideas, and also the beginning or entrance to all spiritual journeys. It corresponds to the developmental stage of incarnation and birth. It is symbolized by the positive and negative archetypes of Earth and the body, as well as by David in the Jewish tradition. It is associated with the immediate environment, with the world of earth, crops, living things.

This sphere is the last or lowest of ten described in the Kabbalistic system of sephiroth.
