Absence of a familial structure for ethical decision
Nature:
The image of social responsibility as care for one's own family significantly obstructs the development of genuine social responsibility. The traditional family-based society in which an integrated image of social responsibility developed has been supplanted by influences which stress a diversity of other social links, from employment to country of origin or language. Consequently, the individual is deceived by these images into a confused sense of what society is and how to care for it.
