Sidetracks and auxiliary methods in Taoism (Taoism)
Description
There are nine grades of practice. The three lower grades comprise over 1,000 items and are practised by lustful and greedy people. The three middle grades gradually approach the Tao and the three upper grades, also over 1,000 practices, are performed by mediocre practitioners who can use them to ward of sickness. Beyond these nine grades are the three vehicles of the gradual method.
