Higher upper grade (Taoism)
Description
The practitioner exercises vitality and energy, tunes the internal organs, visualizes pure lands, concentrates fixedly on the elixir fields, circulates psychophysical energy through the three elixir fields, swallows noon sunlight. The vitality aroused through sexual intercourse or inner concentration may be rerouted so that it travels up the spine to boost the brain. Another exercice is inward gazing.
Context
In the nine grades of practices which are side tracks and auxiliary methods in Taoism, this is the highest of the three upper grades.
