Unbridled competition among social agencies Rivalry between international groups Divisive antagonism between international organizations
Nature:
International groups have tended increasingly to become forums for international conflict. Organizations from the United Nations to the Olympic Games are a crucial means of maintaining non-violent dialogue among nations and helping to promote peace. However, member delegations are increasingly using such organizations to publicize their own national, political, economic or cultural conflicts, valuing their unique "cause" above that of the global relations which such bodies exist to serve.
