Southern-continent awareness of men (Buddhism)

This is the normative human state of awareness characterized by opportunity to escape from the cycle of death and rebirth by following the dharma. It is represented as a floating land south of Mount Meru.

In Tibetan Sakya Buddhism this is one of the states in the "Ascension Stages Game". In some sets it is numbered 17 on the board.
