Tantra-beginner awareness (Buddhism, Tibetan)

Description

This state of awareness is characterized by taking refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha and by taking the Boddhisattva vow. It is particularly represented as the Tantric path, with its obligatory mantram repetitions, mandala offerings and mystical communion with the saints or gurus of the personal esoteric transmission. This is the way of mantra-vidya (the gnosis of effective prayer) and the adamantine or diamond path of power (siddhi).

Context

In Tibetan Sakya Buddhism this is one of the states in the "Ascension Stages Game". In some sets it is numbered 25 on the board.
