A number of projects have been initiated by UNESCO which study the routes which have traditionally connected the peoples of the world. They are the [Vaka Moana (Ocean Roads) Programme] in the Pacific island region, [Silk Roads], [Roads of Faith] and [Routes of al-Andalus]. Values:
