Reviewing measures to address debt problems of low and middle income countries
Synonyms: Achieving durable solutions to debt problems of low and middle income countries
Implementation: This strategy features in the framework of Agenda 21 as formulated at UNCED (Rio de Janeiro, 1992), now coordinated by the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development and implemented through national and local authorities.
Claim: It is important to achieve durable solutions to the debt problems of low- and middle-income developing countries in order to provide them with the means needed for sustainable development. Measures to address their continuing debt problems should be kept under review.
