Problem

Inconclusiveness of science

Nature:
Science functions in incremental pieces, thus scientific findings are often tentative and inconclusive and may even contradict themselves. The public has no way of knowing how long a much publicized theory will actually be 'correct' - or in vogue.
Incidence:
For years scientists have correlated high blood pressure with a diet too rich in salt, but recent research reports that high blood pressure may actually result from a diet deficient in calcium, potassium, vitamins and salt.
Broader Problems:
Uncertainty
