Organizing regional council of nations

  • Creating security community of nations
  • Enhancing regional security

Description

Security communities are regions of the world in which the states, which are more or less sovereign, have a transnational collective identity and common interests. These states regard the borders of the community, and not the borders of the separate states, as their security borders.

Implementation

Western Europe and South America are examples of security communities. Security communities also are developing in East Asia around ASEAN, and East European states are eager to join the Atlantic-European community.
