Western-continent awareness of cattle (Buddhism, Tibetan)
- Apara-godaniya
Description
This state of awareness is characterized by a heightened form of life and is represented as a floating island west of Mount Meru. Awareness here may include the crossing of the senses so that colours can be experienced by touch, taste, sound and smell, while sounds can be seen, and so on.
Context
In Tibetan Sakya Buddhism this is one of the states in the "Ascension Stages Game". In some sets it is numbered 18 on the board.
