Description
His mind firmly directed in the way of enlightenment, the individual on the path of the bodhisattva expresses his resolve both to become enlightened himself and to lead others in the way of liberation.
Context
The second of the final four paramita (virtues) of the ten that a bodhisattva perfects on the path of enlightenment. In other sources quoted as the first step on the path to become a bodhisattva.
