Mahayana heat-application awareness (Buddhism, Tibetan)

This state of awareness is characterized by the empty nature of reality. It is represented as an experience of the mystical light of the Dharma generated from the heat of concentration and sustained compassion for all beings. At this stage the practitioner is said to develop the first of "four root-conditions of entering".

In Tibetan Sakya Buddhism this is one of the states in the "Ascension Stages Game". In some sets it is numbered 55 on the board.
