Introducing species

Context:
Non-native or alien plant and animal species are introduced into harvested resource environments (agriculture, forestry, fisheries and wildlife) to use them as specific bugs or pathogens to attack weeds and pests, but without the introduced species themselves turning into a problem. This so called biocontrol can save natural resource harvesting industries from substantial damage and/or can increase profits.
