strategy
Asserting homosexual rights
Implementation:
American gays have long used their commercial power, aware of the economic clout their disposable income gives them. They stopped buying orange juice from Florida, for example, after a spokeswoman for Florida's citrus-growers gave her voice to an anti-gay initiative.
Claim:
Constructive commitment is the best approach. There is no point in alienating people. Gay parades generally send the wrong message those they want to persuade. Drag queens, leather boys and floats give the wrong impression to people watching television in the village pub.
