In 1995, Pope John Paul II completed his 63rd trip, a 33,700 kilometre journey through Asia and the Pacific. On his voyage, he commanded the presence of 4 million people in Manila, Philippines.
With ideologies fallen and morality obscured by materialism, many people desire and need spiritual renewal. Western countries have achieved economic and technical success, but they have failed to meet spiritual needs.
