Concentration of the second jhana of four

Description:
Having eliminated applied and sustained thought, three factors remain in the second jhana: rapture or happiness; ease or bliss; concentration.
Context:
According to Hinayana Buddhism, concentration is considered as of one kind (monad), of two kinds (dyads), of three kinds (triads), of four kinds (tetrads) or of five kinds (pentad). In the third tetrad, fourfold according to the four jhana factors, this is the second concentration. It is equivalent to the third concentration of the pentad.<
