Implementation
BioNET International establishes and sustains biosystematic capabilities in developing country institutions to support national programmes for cost-effective sustainable agricultural development and the conservation and wise use of the environment and biodiversity through the creation of technical cooperation networks known as LOOPS (an acronym for locally organized and operated partnerships). Priority activities for the early years are: (a) information and communication services; (b) training; (c) rehabilitation of collections and establishment of new resources; (d) development and application of new technologies.
