Implementation
The relation between labour and remuneration is a complicated matter for which each country has its own customs. The predominant basis for remuneration in Germany, for example, is diplomas and certificates; in southern European countries it is expressly personal qualities like loyalty. The relation between labour and remuneration is determined in some cases by strictly internal regulation e.g in France) or it can be the result of bargaining between employer and employee (e.g. in Belgium). The main remuneration basis in Austria is the nature of the job and in Holland the heaviness of the job.
