Unfruitful relationship between work and society

  • Dysfunctional relationship between employment and social life

Nature

The social function of work has been reduced to that of providing income to the individual, his family and to the state. Any sense of labour contributing to the betterment of the community, region or nation is forgotten by both the worker and by society. The meaning of work is defined by income. A hierarchy of material significance in which the wealthy are the most important and the poor are the least important, regardless of what either contributes to society.
