Lack of funerals for dead foetuses

  • Denial of funerals for aborted foetuses

Nature

To demonstrate their opposition to birth control in all its forms, activists hold funerals for foetuses which have been aborted. In the 1987 Vatican statement "On the Dignity of Procreation", Pope John Paul II stated: "The corpses of human embryos and foetuses, whether they have been deliberately aborted or not, must be respected just as the remains of other human beings".
