Way of idealism (Esotericism)

Characteristic of those who dedicate themselves to a task involving unity and some transcendent goal, possibly through devotion to a god, a guru, and ideal or a cause, even to the point of fanaticism. On this way they are challenged by the task of recognizing the value in alternative visions and refining their understanding of the goal to which they are dedicated.
