Second chakra: realm of fantasy (Lila)

The player is caught up in sensory perception. This sensuality is the force behind creative art, although over indulgence of sensuality leads to loss of energy and thence to corruption and disorder. Mastery of this chakra leads to conquering of lust and to gifts connected with language. There is control of the elements. Free from enemies, the player is beloved by all, including beasts.

The second row of the board of Lila, the game of knowledge, this is represented by the astral, fantasy and joy planes and also groups the squares representing the states of purification, entertainment, envy, nullity, jealousy and mercy. Located in the region of the sex organs, this chakra is related to the element water, to the sense of taste and to pale blue or luminous white. It is compared to the octave comprising the ages 7 to 14 of temporal life. Purification and mercy are the two arrows at this stage, and jealousy and envy the two snakes.
