- Sakridagamin
- Sakadagamin (Pali)
Description
The noble disciple, a stream enterer, attenuates greed for sense-desires and ill will. He has reached the second stage of the [arya-marga]
- supramundane path. Seeing the five aggregates as impermanent, painful and not self, he passes through the series of insights terminating in change-of-lineage. The path of once-return arises; knowledge associated with it is the knowledge of the path of once return. This is the third noble person. Supramundane path moment once return consciousness is followed by two or three fruition moment once return consciousnesses. This is the fourth noble person. After once returning to this world he will make an end of suffering.
