Journeying within transcendence - from forgetfulness to memory
Description
An unfocused life, forgetful of the past and drifting into the future, is replaced by prayerful remembering. This leads to a deeper remembering of who one is before God. Being in apparent control is replaced by an awakening response, to the desire for more than just pleasure but a deeper meaning to life, As one begins to accept one's self, one's vision expands to see the truth.
Context
The sixth section of St John's Gospel, Chapter IV 1-41, is related to a stage in the spiritual journey of the individual.
