Cancer-consciousness (Astrology)

The Cancer mode acts as a stimulus to satisfy desires. It is the guardian of formative energy and growing life. Under optimal conditions it is associated with extreme alertness to ever-changing circumstances, in search of new opportunities that will permit response of a higher order to any challenge.

One of twelve conditions of being or streams of divine energy encompassed within the zodiac. It is said that all twelve conditions must be present and playing its proper part for any successful and fulfilling action to take place. This may be through a group of individuals with different endowments and soul qualities working together; or it may be through one individual who, by self-discipline, practice and meditation, has allowed all twelve conditions to arise within himself.
