Cardinal awareness (Astrology)

A person whose consciousness is influenced by the [cardinal quadruplicity]

of Aries and Libra, Cancer and Capricorn will demonstrate a cosmic awareness, with an outward looking and active approach. This is the final cross to be surmounted when the cycle of existence is dominated and liberation is achieved. Under the influence of Aries the initiation into incarnation is commenced, to be lived through until the wheel is fixed and reversed; and under Capricorn it is culminated.

One of the three cardinal qualities, each uniting four signs of the zodiac in two pairs of opposites or polarities which are strongly linked and between which the influenced individual tends to oscillate, all four signs having much in common.
