Bodywork

  • Bodily manipulation

Description

This therapy, part of a modern movement whose techniques may nevertheless be ancient, depends on the intuitive awareness of the therapist of how and where the individual's problem should be approached. The aim is to stimulate the self-healing capability of the individual's body, taking into account the mental and emotional state of the individual, through manipulating the body and/or its bioelectrical energy field. Use of the therapy develops not only the patient (who may experience insights and breakthroughs in psychological problems and psychic experiences such as clairvoyance or memory of previous lives) but also the therapist, who may develop psychic abilities.
