Asaiksa marga (Buddhism)
- Ashaiksha marga
- Path of no-more-learning
- Path of fulfilment
Description
On the yogacara path of liberation this is when the klesa are totally eliminated, the alaya-vijnana clarified – "the ground converted" – so the cycle of existence is over and the bodhisattva is "no longer a pupil" but actualizes the dharmakaya or "body of the great order", absolute-body awareness characterized as the "great awakening" and one of the trikaya (three bodies) of a buddha.
Context
The last phase in the path to realization when the journey is seen in five stages – panca marga. Also the fourth and last stage on the path of liberation as practised in yogacara.
