when the individual's experience is evaluated from another's viewpoint, thus sensitizing the ego and attributing achievements to numerous benefactors both living and dead. The individual is not only responsible for her own suffering, but also for the suffering of these benefactors and of her descendants, as long as her suffering lasts.
