Al-Mu'akhkhir (Sufism)

The believer is aware of Allah as delaying advancement. It may be that efforts are with wrong intent or that he will eventually place more value on his reward if it is delayed. Whatever his state, the good servant accepts it and continues his efforts while trying to understand the reason for it. He is close to Allah as he does what pleases Allah and is pleased with what Allah does.
