Absence of love (Hinduism)

This absence of love may extend even to the body and to life itself, but generally refers to lack of love for objects of desire or for dear ones. There is absence of joy at being with dear ones and of sorrow at being parted from them. God is the indwelling spirit in all persons and all persons are treated alike, not with love or with hatred.
