Giving awards for biodiversity conservation work

Implementation:
The William L. Brown Award for Excellence in Genetic Resources Conservation is an annual award given to an outstanding individual in recognition of contributions made in the field of genetic resources conservation and use. The award carries a cash prize of $10,000. Nominations are open to men and women of all countries. This award is made through the Sehgal Family Foundation to honor the work and memory of William L. Brown - distinguished scientist, businessman, humanitarian - and founder of DIVERSITY.
