Description:
Benchmarking is a process in which key activities or data are compared with other leading organisations, with the aim of improving those aspects in the organisations involved.
Implementation:
The University of Edinburgh (Scotland), and the University of Adelaide (Australia) have a benchmarking agreement which includes identifying and adopting international best practice in areas of academic and administrative management operations.
