Re-integrating social frameworks

Claim:
Aspirations for sustainable development will always be better supported by intangible aspects such as autonomy, identity and regional pride, rather than by any other standard or institutional means. But this requires an internally integrated society, and the social reconstruction of a region is no easy task. It must involve the destruction of myths, suspicions and fears. It means renouncing a single individual's opinion and using each person's individual perception of any given problem as the starting point for building common strategies, and diverse tasks adapted to each person's abilities.
