Using consultative processes

Context:
An effective consultative process may be established and implemented with concerned groups of society where formulation and decision-making on all programme components are based on a nationwide consultative process drawing on community meetings, regional workshops and national seminars, as appropriate. This process would be designed to ensure that views of women and men on needs, perspectives and constraints were reflected equally in programme design and that solutions were rooted in specific experience. The poor and underprivileged would be priority groups in this process.
