Researching water usage by plants
Implementation:
A joint research programme between the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Agricultural Exchange Association (IAEA), and the Swedish International Development Authority (SIDA) uses neutron moisture meters to measure how water is used by crops and crop varieties.
