Isolating social forms inhibiting ethical relations
Claim: At the local level, ethical relations are blocked by the continuing operation of isolating, inadequate structures which prohibit meaningful participation in society. People become frustrated by a sense of vague community obligation which causes feelings of being trapped and impotent. There is a sense of paralysis in the ability to care for others through social organizations: people feel themselves to be victimized when they are not in a position to receive care from these same organizations.
