Problem

Static and superficial adult values

Nature:
The life-styles of most adults are static and superficial with no depth analysis of problems or possible solutions. They neither uphold community values for the structures of society, nor attempt to find goals worthy of their ability. Most adults are attached to the commercial value system of contemporary society. They believe the myth that the more you have, the happier you will be; and pressure for immediate gratification crowds out any serious attention to deeper human questions so that eternal issues always stay in the background.
