Satire

Template:
A form of literary presentation which achieves its comedic nature by caricature, ridicule, exaggeration, distortion and irony. It acquires its pointedness by an underlying accusatory purpose, such as to indict corruption, pretense, ignorance, knavery, and the like. For this reason satire is one of the most popular forms of literary exposé. The mockery inherent in satire may be turned, inappropriately, to acc epted human and civic values, and the content of a particular Satiric form may also constitute a libel or a lie.
