Whiteprint

Template:
As opposed to the blueprint, the typical engineering drawing reproduction system, whiteprinting gives copies where the white and black of the original are reproduced. However, by choosing certain kinds of paper the process may yield sepia, red or blue lines, and the paper itself may be of a number of colours. The whiteprint system also makes offset printing plates. Orignals must be on translucent or transparent material. For this reason most photographic negatives will copy and this yields a number of applications including 'reverse blue-line' editing, proof copies.
