An architectural rendering is a pictorial representation of a building intended to show how it will look when completed. These sketches may often misrepresent the appearance of the building by depicting it as standing alone without any environment, urban or natural, or by innaccurate shadings, or by absence of pictorial references of relative scale. Flattering renderings may also ignore ecological intrusiveness, or, on the other hand, local annoyances.
