Calculative participant involvement

Low intensity orientation towards the organizers either vaguely positive or roughly negative, compliance on a contractual basis. A retail/consumer relationship that depends on the maintenance of interest and does not demand creative contributions or feedback from the consumer.
[Advantages] This is generally a long term relationship of involvement based on mutual benefits. The majority of conference goers would probably make up this category.
[Disadvantages] Self-interest is the main criterion for evaluation and participation rather than an analysis of the more general worth of the conference.
