Detached-operator type

Template:
Conference participants who act on problems as though they are in some way white coated and hygienically detached from them. They tend to prefer statistical and theoretical analysis to self analysis.
[Advantages] Some detachment is necessary to acquire the freedom to act - and it can give enough distance to take an overview that forms a context for specific action.
[Disadvantages] Overdependence on theoretical and statistical analysis - dependent as it is on the particular bias of the research structure- can obscure the insights of intuitive analysis based on the recognition of their own involvement in the problems.
