Computer teleconferencing

Template:
Meetings involving geographically separated participants linked through computer terminals in a telephone or data network.
[Advantages] Flexibility. The storage and retrieval capacity of most computer terminals allows for intermittent and uncoordinated participation as well as simultaneous interaction when appropriate.
[Disadvantages] There are still relatively few people who are "at home" at a computer keyboard and the lack of standardization and limits of compatibility put constraints on this form of communication as a medium for conferencing.
