Limited and fragmented outlook of civic minded groups

Pluralistic ignorance
Nature
Most groups lack a distinct vantage point from which to evaluate the strategy for most effectively influencing the social fabric. They have come together in hopes of correcting the imbalance of overly-powerful social dynamics. However they often have myopic and fragmented outlooks and lack a common concrete vision of the future. Their efforts are dissipated in responding to immediacies, without the strategic and intentional use of long periods of time.
