Intuition of sages

Description:
If there are two kinds of valid knowledge, perception and inference, then this is a valid knowledge of perception. Free from doubt and delusion, it is intuitive cognition differing from ordinary perception in that it is not produced by the external sense organs but by the inner organ assisted by powers acquired through learning, austerity and meditation. There is valid intuition of all objects (past, present and future). It is not always distinguished from [pratibhajnana] - a flash of intuition, a vivid and distinct perception in line with the real nature of things. In fact pratibhajnana has been called arsajnana which occurs in everyday life.
