Ways of power

Description:
The ways are four, and lead to the concentration - [samadhi] - on which magic powers are based. They are: concentration of intention - [canda] - that is, due to purpose, zeal, right effort (will to strive); concentration of will power - [virya] - that is, due to energy and right effort (will to strive); concentration of mind - [citta] - that is, due to natural purity of consciousness and right effort (will to strive); concentration of inquisitiveness and daring - [mimamsa] - that is, due to inquiry and right effort (will to strive).
Context:
Among the prerequisites for enlightenment - [bodhi pakshika dharma] - of which there are 37 grouped in seven areas, [riddhipada] is the third of the seven areas. One of the sections of yogic paths or harmonies with enlightenment defined in Buddhism.<
