Bhavana marga
Description:
This is the stage where meditation leads to attachment to pleasures being destroyed. In the [yogacara] path of liberation, this is where the ten lands of the [bodhisattva] are passed through and further progress made in insight and cleansing from defilements.Context:
The fourth phase of the path to realization when the journey is seen in five stages - [panca marga]. Also the third stage on the path of liberation as practised in [yogacara]. Also, as cultivation of the 37 constituents of enlightenment (bodhipakkhiya), one of ten superhuman qualities described in the Sutta Vibhanga as being special attainments of insight above that of ordinary men.< Related:
